About the region
The Öresund (Øresund / Oeresund) region is situated in the south of Sweden and also includes the east parts of Denmark. The two sides of the region are connected by the Øresund Bridge which also is a part of our RT68 logotype.
The region has about 3.6 million inhabitants and comprises Zealand, Loland-Falster, Møn and Bornholm in Denmark and Skåne in Sweden with a total area of 20 859 km².
